How We Helped a Client in the Steel Industry
We were engaged by a client within the steel industry, with a challenge to review their business processes and workings along with current limited use of a technology. They needed a refresh to enable the company to be more joined up, agile, and have data rich insights into how the business is performing on any project. This would also give them the ability to forecast for success and present a technology process which in return would enable them to achieve their goals.
What We Did
Phase one ran across a few weeks, we worked with the client through workshops, business process and logic mapping to better understand the technology process as a whole. We mapped out each task end to end which not only enabled us to understand how the business works, but allowed us to look for information technology solutions that would meet the brief.
Following the discovery phase we identified that the business really needed to adopt a full digital transformation. To help them achieve this process, we built a road map of technologies along with achievable timescales.
Having presented the solution to the client and the board, we have been given the go ahead for the full digital transformation. In the coming months it will enable the business to realise their ambitions of success and growth.
