At phoenix47, giving back to our community is central to who we are, and we were thrilled to sponsor the Mount Batten Charity raffle event on Wednesday, 21st August, held at the beautiful Brading Roman Villa on the Isle of Wight.
It was an incredible day filled with goodwill, excitement, and the coming together of individuals who share the same passion for making a difference. We had the pleasure of meeting so many inspiring supporters and learning about the impactful work that Mount Batten Charity does for the local community.
This event also held special significance for one of our colleagues, Alistair Anderson, who attended the event. Alistair shared a deeply personal connection with the charity:
“Mountbatten graciously cared for my father-in-law in December 2023 over Christmas, providing myself and family the priceless last few weeks of time with him. The level of care, attention, and support from the staff was amazing. The team provided us with support 24 hours a day, something we will always be grateful for. A hospice is something you never realize is there until itโs needed, but I can only say thank you and appreciate the level of care when we needed it most. To help raise money for something so close to myself and my family is special. I hope it will be a continued support for years to come!”
We are incredibly proud to support a cause that means so much to Alistair and so many others in the community. Events like these remind us why itโs essential to be involved, not just in the tech world but in initiatives that touch lives in profound ways.
