CRM Migration to ZOHO

After experiencing issues with our original CRM, the CEO requests a migration to a new CRM toolset called ZOHO…

4 years ago, phoenix47 embarked on an internal Operations Digital Transformation. This was to :

  • Ensure that our back office could scale with the success of phoenix47
  • Phoenix47 had access to business reporting in real time to support business and Strategic decisions
  • Our business data was in one place
  • Enhance our Support Desk capabilities
  • Make Compliance easier


After conducting significant due diligence of available CRM’s, we chose Autotask by Datto. We then embarked on a focused roll out of the CRM across the business to include Projects, Sales, Professional Services. Support Desk, Finance and HR. 4 years on from this initial CRM selection, it was clear that our expanding business required a CRM with improved HR integration, reporting and simplicity and also the ability to scale without exorbitant costs. To this end our COO, Archie Maddocks embarked on a re-evaluation of the market (a lot of good things had happened around CRM technologies over the 4 year period).

Ed Crane, the phoenix47 CEO set the target of migrating to the new CEO to coincide with our company year end and although quite an aggressive target, timewise, Archie and the Operations team headed by Martin Beirne set about planning the migration from Autotask to Zoho One.

The migration to Zoho One has been completed successfully and the business is fully utilising the new CRM in all parts of the business. Phoenix47 is now well placed to continue its expansion underpinned by a robust, Strategic CRM that can scale infinitely.
